Insect Structure, Function, and Metamorphosis
Clokey Productions, Inc. dba San Luis Video Publishing
In this program, students will learn the three types of metamorphosis: gradual, incomplete, and complete, and see examples of insects in each group. The program explores the basic structure of insects, including the exoskeleton, antennae, eyes, mouthparts, leg parts, digestive tract, and reproductive tract. It also shows examples of insect defenses, such as high reproductive rates, camouflage, mimicry, and spines.
